Bark is playable in this game. He can also be defeated in the Polar Mountains stage.

Bark the Polar Bear is Bean the Dynamite's partner and close friend. While his partner is a crazy chatterbox, Bark is calm and speaks only what is necessary. Thanks to his strength, he is a formidable foe for Sonic the Hedgehog and the other combatants. He previously worked with Eggman and participated in the fighting tournament along with the latter and Bean but lost to Rouge the Bat. He was about to fight Skarlet but managed to escape before she could take his blood. However, he witnesses Bean's death at her hands.
