Bert Riverdale is a keen outdoorsman who loves the outdoors. He is famous throughout the land as the supplier of the best lumber and has provided much assistance to travellers of the outdoors.
Appearance[]
Bert has very tanned fur attained after a life in the outside sun. He rarely shaves his beard which gives him a very rugged outsdoorsy look. He is never far from his trusty axe .
Personality[]
Bert is a mostly solitary outdoorsman. He loves the outdoors and is happiest when he is outside.
History[]
Bert has spent most of his life outdoors. He was born to Moose Riverdale, his father, who was also an outdoorsman much like Bert and loved the outdoors. He taught Bert all the skills of the great outdoorsman, including tree chopping.
Bert cut his first tree at the age of 33 and has been involved with lumber ever since.
It was while outside that he met his closest friend, Pike Roughlands. They went on a good hunting trip together.
Powers[]
Bert has a unnatural hardiness which allows him to spend long periods outside.
Skills[]
Bert is very good at reading maps. He is skilled with an axe and is very good at cutting trees. He can light fires out of wood and is very good at hunting.
Weaknesses[]
Bert struggles daily with the idea that the trees that he cuts down represent that which he loves most in life, the outdoors. This leads to a great deal of indecision and sometimes halts his woodchopping midswing to ponder this thought.
