A young Aurakinetic cat with a strong desire for fun and adventure, Calvin the Cat is the older brother of Micah.
He is based on Cuphead from the indie game Cuphead.
Physical Description[]
A lean cat who stands close to three feet tall, Calvin has a short muzzle with a triangular nose, medium-sized, pointed ears, and a slim, medium-length tail. He has a notch in his left ear, and a gap in the middle of his teeth.
His fur is primarily American silver in color, with a white muzzle, chest, stomach, and tail tip. He has no hair on his head, instead having a longer tuft of wild-looking fur, and his eyes are burgundy in color.
His outfit consists of a black turtleneck sweater, rose madder shorts, and rose madder boots with white cuffs. He sometimes opts to wear a black short-sleeve shirt instead of a turtleneck if the weather permits; he'll often wear a rose madder ascot as well. He also has a gauze bandage wrapped around the middle of his tail that's purely for decoration; he thinks it makes him look tough.

Childhood[]
Calvin and his brother Micah were taken to their grandfather Barnaby (on their mother's side of the family) when they were just babies; this was in an attempt to keep them safe, and since their grandfather lived in the United Federation City-State of Station Square, both parents were also hoping the presence of G.U.N would keep their kids safe.
When he and Micah were eleven and ten respectively, they met Weiss, who had had a problematic life due to his abusive parents. They were quick to befriend him but a week later, the guards soon took Weiss away to the detention center, and both Calvin and Micah were held back and unable to stop them from taking their friend away.

As a child, Calvin's not exactly powerful; while he is scrappy, his physical strength isn't anything formidable, being only slightly stronger than the average human child. Being a cat, he is quite fast, and he has a keen sense of both hearing and sight; he also has natural weapons in the form of sharp teeth and claws, although they're not quite as effective as the teeth and claws of an adult cat.
Calvin is capable of manipulating the Attribute of Aura, although he's not proficient with it yet; as of now, he's only capable of heightening his senses and agility, and using the Aura Shot technique, which is a weaker version of Aura Sphere; repeated uses of Aura Shot will tire him out, however. His aura appears red in color, as opposed to Micah's blue aura.
He is noted to have a slightly stronger Aura Shot than Micah, although he can't heighten his senses and speed as well as Micah can.
Strengths/Resistances[]
Calvin has no specific resistances to any Elements or energy-types. He is quite fast, and can easily outpace slower foes and evade their attacks.
Weaknesses[]
Anything that is capable of disrupting altering, or blocking Calvin's energy flow will outright cripple his aurakinetic abilities, as will any kind of psychological attack that clouds his mind; constant distractions can also disrupt his aurakinesis. He has no specific weaknesses to any Elements or energy-types otherwise.
His defenses aren't anything special, therefore he mostly relies on his agility to try and evade potentially devastating attacks.

Personality[]
Loud and extroverted, Calvin is much more likely to engage others than his brother is, and he's perfectly fine with this; he hates sitting still and being bored anyways, and he can be quite a chatterbox if he gets the chance. He's highly protective of his younger brother Micah, even though sometimes the two of them argue, particularly when it comes to Calvin's reckless ways. While he knows that Micah sometimes gets annoyed with him being a "mother hen", he often can't help but worry and be protective, even though he is trying to give his baby brother the space he needs to grow. He is also pyrophobic, but he'll fiercely deny this.
Calvin's also noted to be rather greedy, but his desire for money is primarily motivated by a desire to give his brother and his grandfather (and himself to a slightly lesser extent) all the nice things that he believes they deserve to have. His stubbornness makes it hard for him to admit when he's made mistakes, but when he finally does, he tends to break down with guilt over it.
Calvin's very much driven by curiosity and wanderlust, and he frequently wanders into situations that're less than favorable for him simply because he wanted to see what was going on; he's likely to drag his brother along for the ride as well. He's quite mischievous, and he and his brother aren't above pulling pranks on people purely for fun; he, like Micah, also has a tendency to be rather bratty towards people he dislikes.
