Cheese the Chao is Cream the Rabbit's pet Chao creature and best friend, whom she uses to fight for her and takes with her everywhere. Although many fans are sure Cheese is a boy, it was hinted in Sonic X that "he" may possibly be a girl as many characters refer to Cheese as a "she".

Cream and Cheese first appeared in book/movie 3: Special Delivery. They come from planet Flavorr in the series. In bouns book/movie 7: An Unexpectedly Comeback, Cream's family appears to have been murdered by one of the COMbots. Azmuth, the creator of the PRUT, sent Cream and Cheese to the Freedom Fighter HQ on Mobius. Now, Cream and Cheese are the adopted daughters of Sonic the Hedgehog, and Amy Rose.

The Chronicles of Sonic the Hedgehog: Rise of the HeroesEdit

In the game, in the Final Story, Cheese is revealed to be Chaos. He then teams up with the heroes to defeat Dark Legion.

Downtown Teenage AdventuresEdit

In Downtown Teenage Adventures, Cheese has a sister named Milkshake. Also Cheese is refered as a "he".  He is

also raised by Alyssa, Cream's older sister. He is a minor character and appears once every approximate 7 episodes. He is usually with Cream and Alyssa, not so much with others. He does like to be polite but as well as fight.
