Appearance

An unassuming black cat with a gray, fur-covered muzzle and flame-red hair, Dr. Gilliard gains all his menace through his brown eyes, which seem to carry his disdain for those 'below' him in power. He also has rather clear red flecks in his muzzle fur, the signs of a slight beard forming, although he is average in all other ways, including tail length for a cat.

Attire

As befitting a combat scientist, Dr. Gilliard wears a vest and pants of tan ceramic battle armor, plus a pair of brown combat boots, with a set of blue latex gloves & a black lab coat over the top. He is known to wear a blue shirt beneath his vest.

History

Abilities

As a member of the Gilliard family, William possess his family's genetic ability, Sweet Sleeping Face. This serves to create an illusion around him when he is asleep or in a meditative trance of harmlessness, forcing anyone who means him harm to turn down attacking him. He also has Rock Head from his mother, which prevents any recoil damage from his own attacks.

Dr. William Gilliard is renowned throughout bio-modification circles as the master of power alteration, and is spoken of highly by notorious virologist Bubonic the Hedgehog, who looks up to the Doctor's works on temporary power replacement and empowerment. This is achieved through his signature 'weapon', an array of small vials, each carrying a genetically modified virus - as soon as he feels the desire to, he drinks the vial of virus, which installs into his body an encoded element or power, such as creating new body parts, but with only two of the vials at once. It is rumored he possesses advanced elements, although he rarely uses them.

Without any shots, however, Dr. Gilliard is still a fearsome fighter - with high-level Psychic techniques, a fighter's body and two melee weapons - a concealed spear disguised as a broom and a sword enhanced with Dark power to instill fear in his opponent, he poses a threat to most fighters, although his unpredictable fighting style shifts from his other elements, plus the creation of body parts such as shells, wings, etc. are what give him his true power. He also carries around a Razor Fang in his pocket, in order to cause his opponents to flinch with his physical attacks.

Extremely hard to counter, Dr. Gilliard's weakness is his requirement to only take two vials, because he gains all basic weaknesses of those elements and/or fighting styles. However, because he understands this weakness, he is trained in the technique Explosion, which would kill him instantly, but causes all of his energy to burst out over a hundred-meter radius, likely taking his opponent with him. He also has explosives built into his armor, to boost that radius up to five hundred meters, meaning that killing him is a risky option.

Vehicles

In his role as a high-ranking member of the Army for Equality, Dr. Gilliard uses a modified Hammerforge Industries Goliath Infantry Fighting Vehicle, which has been retooled into a mobile laboratory for him to work in. The standard weaponry was switched out, replaced instead with a single pressurized particle cannon, a rack of twelve medium range missiles and two standard-fire laser cannons, operated by the driver and navigator, while he works in a large laboratory in the 'belly of the beast', so to speak, which is fully capable of producing vials for not only his use, but the use of others.
