Paper Sonic Ring of Destiny

Template:Construction/NewPaper Sonic: The Ring of Destiny is a game (That will never be made) for the Wii, DS, and 3DS systems. This game revolves around the mystical Ring of Destiny, a magical ring that can change the world. Sonic and friends must race to get the Chaos Emeralds and get the Ring of Destiny back from Dr. Eggman.

Plot[]

Sometime before the events of the game, Eggman managed to trick the guardian of the mystical Ring of Destiny. This allowed him to steal the Ring and use it for his own purposes. As shown in the prologue, he does not know much about the Ring. Sonic and Tails are warped to a city named Gigalopolis. The town looks like a normal small town above ground, but underground, it is a sprawling complex, giving the city its name. Sonic must team up with his friends (and even a few Badniks turned good by Professor Kintobor) to find the Chaos Emeralds, thwart Eggman's plot yet again, and take back the Ring of Destiny.

Gameplay and Controls[]

Paper Sonic: The Ring of Destiny is a mix of a 2D Side scrolling platformer and an RPG game. The game is almost entirely 2D (aside from a few scenes with a 3D perspective), but all gameplay is 2D.

Story[]

Chapter 1[]

The story begins with Sonic and Tails running through a forest. Tails asks where they are going. Sonic replies that he found a disturbance and Eggman appears. He shows off the Ring of Destiny and then shoots a laser attached to his EggMobile. A black hole appears and takes Sonic and Tails away. Eggman then flies away.

Sonic and Tails look around and see that they have landed in a town. They ask around and find out that the town is named Gigalopolis, and that most of the city is a sprawling complex underground. They then go to find the professor of the town, Professor Kintobor. They ingage in a conversation, and Kintobor explains all that he knows about the Ring of Destiny, but then says that he will continue to study his ancient text. The professor tells the two heroes that they must begin their quest immeadiately. He then tells a Badnik named Motor to join them and Sonic, uneasily, lets him tag along. Kintobor then gives Sonic the Warp Ring, which warps him back to the lab from wherever he is. The trio then sets off to find the Zone Door. They enter it and find themselves in Green Hill Zone. They traverse the green hills and checkered ground, eventually meeting Eggman, who is quick to engage him in a battle.
