Hazel the Hyrax is an oringinal character created by pumpituppartyzone. She is an Earth Yellow, female Rock Hyrax. She currently has a role in the Youtube show called "Total Sonic Island", a Sonic parody of Total Drama Island. She is 104 cm tall and keeps her weight a secret. She is a time traveler.
Early life[]
It is unknown where Hazel was born, but she was born in current time, despite the fact that she is a time traveler. When she was born, the moment she opened her eyes, her mother was shot dead. That is why she absolutley hates blood, goar, and anything that has to do with horror movies. When she was five, her father first revealed to Hazel her time traveling abilities. The first time she time traveled was the next day, and she traveled to Tikal's time. Lucky for her, Pachmahac was not there at the time, so she was not chased by the Knuckles army. She skipped happily over to Tikal and introduced herself, and they became very good friends. From then on, Hazel visited Tikal every week, until the temple burned. she went into the temple, wondering what was happening, and she tried to stop the fire, but the Knuckles Army chased her back to her time. The first time she traveled to the future was when she was 11, but messed up and accidentally ended up in Blaze's universe. When she got there, hey powers were temporarily gone. Frightened, she stayed in the street in feetle position, until Blaze found her. Hazel thought that Blaze would hurt her, so she took off in the other derection, and when she felt her powers come back, she traveled back to the present.
Total Sonic Island[]
Hazel is a character that comes in the after the season already started, which should make her a prime target for campers, but most of them do not care about her. Hazel planned this, because she believes it will help her get farther in the game if nobody knows who she is. She is one of the few characters who is not in an alliance, and when she came to the show, Charmy mistook her for a bear, which made her angry. In partners challenges, she teams up with Sally Acorn, and they are known as the NICOLE girls (reffering to Sally's device, named NICOLE). Hazel sometimes can talk Sally into doing more work that she does, which could get her far in the game.
In the remake of Total Sonic Island, Hazel is immediately mesmerized by Donatello's beauty. In her team, she is the first to be cured of this, having her own potion used on her. She helps Sonia be cured as well, by making a potion that required using items from each team along with Chris. She did not manage to help Sally and Marine, as they cured themselves during a challenge. After this, Hazel started being more sassy toward people, but still helps people all the time. She occasionally wears a full stereotypical witch costume when creating potions, which has lead some other contestants to believe that she is a witch.
Personality[]
Hazel is quite a smart hyrax, and is especially knowledgable about chemsitry related subjects. She has a business producing and selling potions, elixirs, etc., so she knows an extensive amount of information about all of the potions she sells, along with many that she does not. Her business has also taught her how to convince others to do things she says, which has become an advantage for her in multiple situations.
Hazel is generally level headed. However, she tends to complain quite a bit. She usually sees the worst of a situation and dwells on it, and has an essentially negative personality and mindset. Because of this, Hazel also tends to give up on situations easily, though not much convincing is needed to keep her going. Despite this, Hazel does enjoy helping others, and loves a good adventure.
Abilities[]
Hazel, as stated in the previous section, has the power to teleport to different time zones and dates. However, if she uses too much energy before she time travels, she can temporarily lose this power. Hazel is an amazing climber, and lands from jumps with incredible grace. Like most Sonic characters, Hazel can Spin Jump and Spin Dash. She can make different potions to give people temporary powers, like Super Sonic Speed, Super forms, or even love potions. She has a large, chartruse toy wrench they she uses to hit people with, and like Sadie, she can enlarge her head and scream very loudly, similar to the Sonic Scream. She runs very fast and her attacks are above averagely powerful.

Sadie the Dog[]
It is possible that the only reason that these two met is because of Dr. Eggman. He captured Maxie and knocked her out, and then sent a letter to all of her friends. It basicly said that they have no hope of getting Maxie back from him unless they pay a ransom, but Hazel, Sadie, and a few of her other friends found her and saved her. Since then, Sadie has become great friends with Hazel, and Maxie never let anybody tie her hands behing her back.
Sally Acorn[]
In the original installation of Total Sonic Island, Hazel and Sally did not interact much when the teams were present, but when they merged and were given the Contestants vs Lacey challenge, they teamed up and formed NICOLE girls. This lead to a good friendship between the two of them.
I the second take of the show, the two were placed on the same team, but did not interact much due to Donatello keepng Sally and Marine in a trance for so long. After Sally tried training the team nonstop, she was voted out.
