Mavuto Nagi is a resident of the town of Brightdune.
Physical Description[]
A slim centipede who stands a good bit over three feet tall, Mavuto has a short muzzle, two pairs of long, slender, and fully movable antenna, and a pair of long, slender tails that end in feathery, translucent tips.
Her skin is primarily black coral in color, with a black shadows muzzle, chest, stomach, while her forearms are amber in color, and her antenna and tails are carmine in color. Her hair, which is cut fairly short and is straight, is black in color, and her eyes are gamboge in color.
Her outfit consists of a tank top, khaki shorts, fingerless gloves, and boots; she sometimes wears a safari-style hat, as well.

Childhood[]
Mavuto grew up in the desert town of Brightdune, located on the Mobian continent of Efrika; specifically, at the south-western border of the Desert Ocean Zone. Her parents, Kharim and Aanisah, were traders, delivering goods and services to and from the other settlements in and around the Zone, with one notable location being the United Federation city-state of Mazuri. Mavuto's upbringing was often filled with different sights, as she frequently accompanied her parents on their travels. This gave her a desire for exploration and adventure.

A swift and elegant combatant, Mavuto is a natural Toxikinetic, as well as one who is proficient with Insect-style combat; this is unsurprising, given the fact that she is an insect (a poisonous Mobian centipede, no less, so she does have access to moderately powerful Toxikinesis). She wields a khopesh for protection, and is quite skilled with it.
She is very fast and agile, with her limber frame giving her great flexibility as well. She can run up to 45 miles per hour, which is fairly impressive for someone who doesn't actually have super speed.

Mavuto is resistant to the Element of Poison. She is quite agile, able to dodge slow-moving opponents and attacks with ease. She also has a high tolerance for hot, dry weather.
Weaknesses[]
Mavuto is weak to the Element of Nature, and, to a lesser extent, Ice. Her defenses aren't anything special, therefore she mostly relies on her agility to try and evade potentially devastating attacks. Cold weather can also be detrimental to her health.

A friendly and feisty woman, Mavuto seems to crave adventure. Being the daughter of two traders allowed her to experience many different sights, as she frequently traveled with them on their expeditions.
She is courteous and polite to strangers, and even if they do not seem to be friendly, she will assume the best of them until she knows for sure that they are foes.

- The real-life Feathertail Centipede's long "tails" are actually a pair of modified legs, which they rapidly wave back and forth as a warning. This is not the case with any Mobian Feathertail Centipede (or any regular Mobian centipede for that matter), as they evolved to have a bipedal posture and therefore had no need for an extra pair of legs; these legs became tail-like structures instead.
