Metal Sonic Version 3.0, or simply Metal Sonic 3.0 or 3.0 is a clone/palette swap of the original Metal Sonic, created by Dr. Nega, who made his debut in Sonic Rivals 2 for the Playstation Portable.

Canon Information[]
During the events of Sonic Rivals 2, he was made to awaken the Ifrit and raced Shadow the Hedgehog, Metal Sonic, Silver the Hedgehog or Espio the Chameleon (depending on the story mode). When either one reaches the Ifrit, Metal Sonic 3.0 tries to stop them from destroying the Ifrit and attacks them. Once the Ifrit is defeated, Metal Sonic 3.0 was either destroyed or trapped in the Ifrit's dimension.model.
