RFU is a fanfic universe created by Rainbowroad6w, better known "Lightning the Hedgehog" or "S.H." RFU stands for Rainbow Fanfic Universe. The story takes place the exact same time that the Sega time takes place. It holds many of the original characters that were from the original Sega games, and adds on many other characters. Characters such as Lightning the Hedgehog (who is basically the main character in this fanfic universe) and Delilah the Cat are part of the RFU. Original characters from the Sega Universe are in here too, like Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna. Even new teams such as Team Rainbow are seen in here.
