Personality[]
Ryu is extremely high-spirited, optimistic, and a good sport, which causes some question why he's with the Trolls. However, Ryu is completely and utterly fight-crazed, obsessed with fighting strong opponents to prove that he's the best. In a fight, he is merciless, ruthless, and extremely destructive, but at the same time keeps his spirited demeanor. Even when he's breaking his opponent's bones, he'll actually give encouragement for them to try harder, causing some to believe that he's wither sadistic, insane, or just too high-spirited to actually take his fights seriously.
Ryu is best friends with Ken the Echidna, who is just as obsessed with strength and fighting as Ryu is, and equally destructive. In fact, they are so fight-crazed, that the two can suddenly start fighting each other for absolutely no reason other than to fight, even if they were partying just moments before. Because the two have no regard for the destruction they cause when fighting, the other Trolls make it a top priority to keep the two as far away from each other as possible outside the battlefield.
Appearance[]
Ryu is a silver/grey Sonic recolor, who wears a normal karate outfit with the sleeves ripped off and a black sash around his waist. He wears white gloves with red "bands" for the cuffs. Over his white gloves, Ryu wears red hand guards, similar to those worn by MMA fighters. His quills are black, while his eyes are white with pure-black pupi. Ryu's shoes are black, with red stripes and white buckles.
Abilities[]
Due to being a troll, Ryu has enhanced speed, power, and regeneration abilities. Ryu lacks Chaos abilities by his own choice, instead giving them up to have both his speed and strength enhanced even further, as well as gaining increased stamina. While virtually never used, Ryu is capable of using standard hedgehog abilities like the Spin Attack and Spin Dash.
Ryu's most fearsome capabilities however, lie in his abilities as a martial artist. Ryu is an experienced and fearsome hand-to-hand combatant, capable of fast, powerful, and brutal strikes. In terms of power Ryu is an all-rounder, allowing him to fight adeptly in all areas with no real weakness nor advantage. In addition to his natural fighting capabilities, Ryu has a small array of high-power special attacks at his disposal, which he can use to deal a great amount of damage to or outright defeat enemies.
