I always knew there was something in me that said evil was wrong. But Mephiles kept saying it was nothing. Now, I can finally embrace the good that's inside me. Hopefully, it'll embrace me as well.

Shadow is a character in MewtwoLuario's upcoming Nazo's Adventures series. He is an anthropomorphic, 16-year-old Dark Hedgedragon who is the last known of his kind.
Appearance[]
Shadow is a black and dark grey hedgedragon with a long tail. At the end of his tail are 6 spikes, 3 on each side. His eyes are dark red, and the spikes on his head are a lighter red. Two silver horns are above his eyes, and a third is on his nose. Shadow's wings are large and resemble that of a bat's. His quills are located at the back of his head, and each one ends in a silver spike. He has three claws on his hands and feet, and around his wrists are silver bands with red spikes.
As Super Shadow, Shadow's scales turn dark gold and dark orange, while his horns, spikes and claws become longer and sharper.
Powers and Abilities[]
Shadow, like most dragons, can breathe fire, with his being black. However, Shadow can switch between breathing black fire, dark red lightning, dark green poison gas, and dark blue ice. He is also able to fly, and often uses his wings for propellers when swimming. Shadow is also very agile, being able to dodge almost anything. He is also fast, often saying that, at his fastest speed, sees the entire world going in slow motion. Like the hedgehog he shares his name with, Shadow can use Chaos powers, but he doesn't need an emerald.
Personality[]
Before joining Nazo and his friends, Shadow was a loner, isolating himself from the rest of the world. This was due to his mind always being in his past, thinking that he couldn't trust anyone. After being captured by Mephiles, he became ruthless and hollow, lacking any emotion. The ruthless-and-hollowness was due to the control collar Mephiles put around his neck. This also made him think being evil was good. However, when the collar was broken, Shadow realized he could trust some characters. After that, he became an action lover who, like Nazo, became known for his smack talk. He threw away all the bad things that he had done, embraced the good inside of him, and became a hero.
History[]
Early life[]
Shadow was, originally, a happy-go-lucky, peace-loving Dark Hedgedragon, who lived with the rest of his kind in the legendary Hedgedragon Haven. However, when Mephiles sent the Biolizard to attack the Haven, his kind attempted to flee, but the Biolizard, supposedly, destroyed them all. Shadow then spent the next several years being a loner, avoiding almost everyone who came to him. One day, he was captured by Mephiles, who put a "control collar" around his neck. The pain Shadow had been holding inside of him was finally released as anger, and Shadow became Mephiles' mindless weapon. He was used, alongside Chaos and the Biolizard (whom he didn't recognize), to take over Mobius. For a short while, he worked with a weasel named Fang, but then, he went solo when Mephiles sent him to destroy an atomic hedgehog name "Nazo" and his friends........

All Hail Shadow is Shadow's theme song. It was originally the "Pure Hero" ending theme for the game Shadow the Hedgehog. It was performed by Magna-Fi, and was later remixed by Crush 40 as Shadow the Hedgehog's theme song for Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).

- Shadow's ability to switch between what he breathes is similar to Purple Dragons from The Legend of Spyro series.
- Originally, Shadow's name was Eclipse, and his theme song was supposed to be "Never Turn Back."
