The video game adaptation of Sonic: War for Mobius is an interquel that takes place after the third season and before the fourth season of the series. The player assumes the role of Private Derek Chase of the G.U.N. Imperial Military.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is a first-person shooter. The player has access to all the weapons of the G.U.N. Imperial Military and has the same health as the non-playable characters. The player can carry firearms. Despite having the same health as the non-playable characters, when the player take severe damage, the screen will turn red and the sound of the character's heartbeat will become loud; this indicates the player's health is low. The player must find a way to stay out of fire to recover before entering battle again or else will die and have to restart at the last checkpoint. Health is only restored through automatic recharging when the player is not taking fire. Some attacks, like explosions from grenades or shells, will kill the player instantly if the player is too close. During boss battles the player can be killed instantly.
Plot[]
