Sonic & SpongeBob Generations is an all new adventure to have a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series & the 12th Anniversary of the SpongeBob SquarePants series. It will be for the X-Box 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS & PC as a fangame.

Plot

Console

The story takes place a very long time after Sonic Colors and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Sonic, SpongeBob and their friends are having a picnic in their universes to celebrate until a black hole sucks all of them dry. That causes Sonic and SpongeBob to go back in time and meet their past shelves. After a surprising meeting, the four realize that their worlds are losing color and the time-line has been messed up for unknown reasons. The two Sonics and two SpongeBobs team up to bring their worlds into its colors, learn how to fix up the timeline and save their friends.

Handheld

Like the console, the story takes place some time after Sonic's last encounter with Eggman and SpongeBob's last encounter with Plankton. Sonic & SpongeBob are invited to a party by Tails and Patrick. Sonic, Tails, SpongeBob and Patrick were having chilidogs and Krabby Patties until a vortex sucks Tails & Patrick off. Sonic & SpongeBob jump in but are "attacked" but they could still get in. Sonic and SpongeBob both see a white world and wonders what is going on. Later on, they both meet their past selves. After a surprising meeting, they all realize that the world is losing color and the time-line has been messed up for unknown reasons. They all team up to bring the world into its colors, learn how to fix up the timeline and save Tails & Patrick.

Gameplay

Classic Sonic

Classic Sonic stages consist of him running in a permanet 2-D perspective, platforming all the way towards an end sign post, just like in the original games. Unlike in Sonic Generations where he was speechless, Classic Sonic Talks and is voiced by Roger Craig Smith, But Classic Sonic's voice is slightly higher pitched then Modern Sonic's voice

Classic SpongeBob

Classic SpongeBob stages are similar as Classic Sonics except that he talks. He is still voiced by Tom Kenny, but his voice is just like in the pilot episode "Help Wanted."

Modern Sonic

Modern Sonic's console stages consist of running extremely fast through the stages while the perspective switches between 2-D and 3-D. There will also be new Combo tricks, which are preformed in the air, and fill up the boost Gauge. There will be a new visual element to all returning levels, such as the cave in Green Hill. There will be a bit more platforming invovled, like the sections after the cave in Green Hill.

Modern SpongeBob

Modern SpongeBob's console stages are similar like Modern Sonic's. His voice actor is still Tom Kenny, but talks a bit lighter than his classic version since Seasons 1-4 of "SpongeBob SquarePants".

Co-Op Mode

In co-op mode you can play as two people for the XBOX 360/PS3 only where you can play as your favorite characters from SpongeBob and Sonic to help them get to goal.
