Sonic USA

Sonic USA (originally called Project 21) is a new comic that is to be released in North America and Canda (hence the name Sonic USA). It takes place in the United Federation 20 years after the current mainstream games and the Archie Comics storylines.

Character Bios

• Sonic the Hedgehog- As King of Mobotropolis, Sonic the Hedgehog (referred to as King Sonic) is still the fastest mammal on Mobius! He has married Amy Rose (referred to as Queen Amy), and they gave birth to 4 kids; Darren P. Hedgehog, Kylie K. Hedgehog, Tyros A. Hedgehog, and Minnie Q. Hedgehog.
• Miles "Tails" Prower- Sonic's best friend is now the CEO of Prower Electric Inc.! He is still single, but can rely on his fast friend to get him out of a pinch. His twin tails have been helpful in keeping his office tidy.
• Knuckles the Echidna- 20 years later, Knuckles still guards the Master Emerald, but with the increase of population on Angel Island, he's half-mechanized himself to step up his game. When he's not around to guard the Master Emerald, Tikal and Chaos do so.
• Amy Rose- Sonic's wife is glad to finally be with her beloved blue blur. They have set aside their differences, and now peacefully rule Mobotropolis. With 4 children, they hire Cream and Marine to babysit sometimes.
• Shadow the Hedgehog- Shadow once tried to nab the throne from Sonic while Sonic was away in Downunda. He failed, and was banished to the Zone of Silence. Shadow escaped because of Kodos' extra Chaos Energy contained in a vial. He's strangely mechanized after he escaped. Kodos says it's because the energy was placed in Metal Sonic for sometime.
• Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik- Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik has failed countless times to steal the throne from King Sonic. His IQ has raised to 3,000, but he cannot beat Sonic. His fortress is on the outskirts of Mobotropolis. Eggman's robots have become stronger over the years, but yet Sonic is able to beat him.
• Tikal the Echidna- Tikal was released from the Master Emerald after King Sonic called to his ancestors. She enjoys leaving the island with her husband Chaos. In her spare time, Tikal raises Chao in Mobotropolis' Chao Garden and Health Care.
• Chaos- Chaos, along with Tikal, was released for the same reason. They got married and Tikal gave birth to 6 healthy kids; Chakla the Water-Echidna, Mile the Echidna, Sara the Echidna, Sarah the Echidna, Jackal the Echidna,and Wet the Water-Echidna.
• Cream the Rabbit- Cream is now a teen living with Tails, but she babysits Sonic and Amy's kids. She plans to marry Tails and have 4 kids. Cream works with Tails' company, but in her spare time she also raises Chao.

Welcome to the Future Arc

1. "In the Future"~ Sonic and friends are still the heroes they are 20 years later! Get ready for an explosive new story including new and old friends! Watch Sonic and Shadow duke it out double time; first as Super Sonic and Super Shadow in "Rivals til' the End," and then as knights in "My Clone is a Swordsman".
2. "Gotta Blast Fast"~ After the explosion of the Knighthood Zone, Chaos and Tails discover a new Zone near Eggman's base. But, when they enter the Alternate Zone, they find that Eggman has taken over, and Sonic has been killed. The climax unfolds in "Enter, the Alternate Dimension!" Then, witness true history as Sonic and Eggman duke it out for Mobotropolis' rule in "Dark Side Up Eggs".
3. "An Altrenate Eclipse!"~ Sonic,Knuckles, and Cream enter the Alternate Zone in order to save Tails and Chaos from King Eggman. However, a solar eclipse passes Robotropolis, and the heroes are in the "dark". Can they defeat this foe? Find out in "Altred Ideas Part 1 of 4". Then, experince the next generation of Freedom Fighters in "Tyros the Hedgehog's Fighters!".
4. "All's Oil, Ends Oil"~ With the Altered Death Egg destroyed, only one thing stands in our heroes' way; the Egg Emperor Version 2.K. Can they defeat this metal menace and save Tails and Chaos? Find out in "Altered Ideas Part 2 of 4"! Afterwards, check out Trey the Tasmanian Devil's debut in "Tazzy Sonic"!

Allusions

Issue 1

• Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario 3D Land~ Tyros is seen playing a game called "Hyper Dario Aros 3D", which looks similar to Super Mario Bros. 3. Later on, a commerical advertising "Hyper Dario Aros 3D Land" (simillar to Super Mario 3D Land) is seen on the Globo-TV.
• Cars 2~ Darren and Jackal are seen watching the "Oil Rig Escape" scene from Cars 2.
• Phineas & Ferb~ When Sonic says "Aren't you a little too young to own a huge company, Tails?", he is referring to the "Aren't you a little too young?" line from Phineas and Ferb.

Issue 2

• Sherlock Holmes~ Tails says "Crikey, Chaos! I've found a portal to an unknown Zone!", which is referring to Sherlock telling Dr. Watson he's found something.
• Mario Party DS~ While inside Eggman-2's throne room, Orbot, Cubot, Docoe, and Bocoe are playing a game of "Egg Darty EG". It's title is simillar to the game.
• Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the Second Dimension!~ The Robotropolis in the issue is simillar to alternate Danville.

Issue 3

• Shemmue~ Sonic says "My friend Ryo Hazuki drives a forklift while racing, but this is weirder than that," referring to Ryo Hazuki, a character from Shemmue, a classic SEGA franchise.
• Punch-Out!~ Knuckles shouts "PUUUUNNCCCHHHH-OOOOOOUUUUUUTTTT!" which means "Punch-Out!" referencing the Nintendo franchise.
• Star Fox~ If you look close enough in the background on Page 2, you can see shadows of Falco Lombardi and Fox McCloud. It is unknown if it's on a billboard, building, blimp, or a robot.
