Tails is a skilled mechanic who enjoys inventing things and building planes, although he is not very skilled in inventing as his inventions kept exploding whenever he tries to activate it. Although they are thought to be working for Eggman at first, they are actually working for Vector the Crocodile, the leader of the Chaotix. When they are all defeated by Sonic, they are arrested and sent to jail, but are soon released from prison by Shadow and Rouge and then hired by Eggman to take down the Sonic Saviors. They are also the arch-rivals of the Babylon Rogues, another criminal group. The Babylon Rogues - Another group of criminals who are best known for riding their Extreme Gears and snatching treasure from their victims, and are bitter rivals with the Chaotix. They first appear when Shadow, Rouge and the Chaotix demand Sonic and his friends to hand over the yellow Chaos Emerald, where they snatch it from him, bringing into a conflict into the three sides, but they, along with Eggman's minions, are forced to retreat after facing too much opposition. They later reform, but remains being in conflict with the Chaotix.

His henchmen are Bean the Dynamite and Bark the Polar Bear, criminals who work for the Dracon Empire. Fang, Bean and Bark are all antagonists towards Shadow, Rouge and Omega.

Eggman Nega - Eggman's madman descendant who hails from the future, and the arch-nemesis of Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat. Having his honor rejected by professional scientists because of his conglomerate's constant failures and their arrest in the past, Nega has decided to trick Silver and Blaze into terminating Sonic by telling them that Sonic is the main reason why his conglomerate has failed, but soon betrays everyone, his ancestors included, by revealing his real plan to destroy the universe.
