Sonic the Merhog (not to be confused with Sonic the Merhog (character)) is a fanfic being written by User:75.66.160.8.

PlotEdit

Sonic has one secret he's never told anybody; he's a merhog. He wants to tell his friends this before his 21st anniversary. However, Eggman hears about it from his surveilance cameras, which leads to him wanting to capture Sonic. Can Sonic's new friends Azure and Nelly, along with his other friends, stop Eggman before he captures Sonic?

Chapter #1: Sonic's Best Kept SecretEdit

Sonic's Point of View (P.O.V.)

I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog. If there's one thing I've never told anybody, it's that I'm a merhog. Nevertheless, I felt the need to tell my best buddies. The best location for pulling off that trick is Lake Seclude in the front of Ice Cap Mountain. Ahh, Ice Cap, such good memories. Anyway, I hopped in the Speed Star (because it's about an hour from where I live by foot) and drove off.

Tails' P.O.V.

I just arrived at Lake Seclude on Ice Cap Mountain with Knuckles and Amy. Strangely, the Chaotix was there, along with Shadow, Sliver, Chip, and Blaze. Sonic should be here soon. He sent me a e-mail to meet him and the gang at Lake Seclude. I checked the area to make sure Egghead wasn't spying on us. I detected a spy camera hidden in the side of the mountain. Hopefully it won't bother much.

Eggman's P.O.V.

Apparantly, there's been no activity at Lake Seclude. I have no idea where that rodent is. All I can see are his meddlesome friends. That twin-tailed menace located my Eggmera 3000 while doing a scan here. Chip could be useful to my reasearch on revival of Dark Gaia. It's lunchtime, so I'm going to go grab 3 burritos while I wait. I left Snively in charge of the Eggmera while I got my lunch.

Sonic's P.O.V.

I arrived at Lake Seclude. My friends asked me why I had called them here. To their surprise, I jumped into the water without drowning. That's when I transformed into a merhog. Everybody was shocked by this. They saw my gills, my sliver and blue tail, and my Mer-necklace. Amy and Tails were especially shocked. I saw the Egg Carrier flying overhead. Big problemo.

Knuckles' P.O.V.

I saw Sonic transform. Then Sonic stared upward and pointed at something in the sky. It was none other then the Egg Carrier. I was mad about Eggman, so me, Shadow, and Sliver Chaos Controled to the mechanical mess. Sonic doesn't know I'm a merchidna. He'll find out soon enough.

Snively's P.O.V.

My uncle is still on lunch break. He must've gotten obsessed with some cannon disablement on the main deck. Knuckles, Shadow, and that sliver hedgehog have bomboarded the ship. I've got to alert all Badniks in Area 05, which is the main deck.

Shadow's P.O.V.

I suspect that Eggman must've alerted all of his goons here. Buzzbombers and Egg Pawns are coming at us full throttle. Killing them is easy enough. Now onto the main control room to find out who alerted these menaces.

Sonic's P.O.V.

Looks like me, Chip, Blaze, Amy, Tails, and the Chaotix are the only ones here. That security camera Eggman placed has been bugging me the last few minutes. I just hopped out of the water to destroy it. Bingo. Let's just hope that Eggman didn't see me transform. If he did, I'd bet he wanted to come up with something diabolical and sinister. I'll kick his butt, land or sea.

Tails' P.O.V.

Sonic doesn't know that all his friends (not the Chaotix or Chip) are meranimals. We should just get into the water. I got in an my tail is red and orange. Hopefully, Shadow, Sliver, and Knuckles don't mind coming in.

Chapter 2: The Egg TurtleEdit

Eggman's P.O.V.

Looks like those meddlesome heroes have all become meranimals! I need to reboot a little something Eggman Nega built. The Egg Turtle should do the trick. In the meantime, I'm going to launch out my Turtloids and Chop Chops on them. Better yet, I'll plant a Roboticizier inside to get Sonic!

Azure's P.O.V.

I've been spying on Eggman for half an hour, thanks to Sonic's request. I just need to warn the others. Sonic's life could be in danger if I don't.
