Nitro, or DEN 003: Nitro, is the 3rd robot that [[Dr. Eggman]] and Dr. Doofenschmirtz created together. Through unknown circumstances, he became the leader of the Metalinators. He was sent to Danville with the intention of destroying the heroes, but he and his team were quickly defeated by the combined efforts of Sonic and Phineas.

==Appearance==
Nitro's body is mainly green. His arms and legs are gray, and his hands and feet are white. He has a gray jetpack that has Eggman's symbol and the letters D.E.I. (Doofenschmirtz Evil Incorporated) on the back. There are red stripes on his wrists, ankles, and head. He has blue eyes.

==Personality==
Nitro, being one of the rare robots that Eggman made with free will, is very cocky. He is super determined to crush anyone who is foolish enough to stand in his way. However, his cockiness can sometimes overwhelm his better judgment, and lead to defeat. Even though he is very fair about it, he can't bear to lose to anyone. His overconfident attitude is one of his weaknesses, even though he claims he has none.

==History==
Dr. Eggman and Dr. Doofenschmirtz built Nitro and the Metalinators to destroy the heroes. He and his teammates were sent to Danville to achieve their mission, but they quickly got taken out by the 2 teams of heroes.

==Powers==
Every Metalinator has a special power to call their own, and Nitro's is super speed. His speed rivals even that of Sonic. Though not shown in the fanfics just yet, Nitro has a jetpack that enables to fly at supersonic speed.

==Special Abilities==
Besides having super speed and a supersonic jetpack, Nitro is able to take more hits than a human would, and can be reprogrammed if he were to die.

==Skills==
He has amazing agility and countless preparations have prepared him for intense battle. He has all the qualities that make up a leader, including always having a good strategy and taking responsibility for his failure.

==Weaknesses==
Despite claiming he has no weaknesses, his big one is his cocky and overconfident attitude overcoming his common sense. Not only that, but if you remove the Power Ring that powers him, his powers will shut down for 10 minutes until he switches to his default power supply.
