1. Will the Echidna storyline
{C Tails is married to Cream and have four kids (so far): Kyle, Cookies, Vivienne and Nathan. He took part in finding Will and Maddy the Hedgehog when they disappeared, went to Big's family reunion and Will's 14th birthday party. He also witnessed the fight that resulted in Will, Maddy and Kyle leaving.
{C Tails is one of the four people who tried to figure out Will's disease (Including Dr. Eggman) before his cousin from an alternate universe, Ronan arrives and has the cure. He takes part in the surgery as well.
2. Terrible Luck Saga
{C In this mini-series by Manta-bee, Tails is among the characters that are captured by Lerich, who tries to make them his slaves. Although they manage to get away from him, he still pursues them with intent to kill them.
- Voiced by Collen Clinkenbeard in the animation adaptation.
3. Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie 2

4. Sonic Underground Remake Series
{C Tails lives with Rodent, Amy Rose, and Conker in Willow Woods, a land not touched by Robotnik or the Panther King. One day, he with Conker and his new friend, bounty hunter Princess Sally, embark on an adventure to find Amy and Rodent from Scourge's clutches. After the adventure, Tails and his friends have many more involving Sally along with Team Chaotix, Banjo, Kazooie, and eventually Sonic the Hedgehog!
5. Sonic: Tales On Mobius.
{C Tails appears in this comic. He is always wearing a red sweater Cream's mom Vanilla made for him. His girlfriend is Cream the Rabbit. His favourite food is lasagna. His theme is Numb by Linkin Park.
{C His first appearence in comics is in the first issue. He yells Sonic, as he is starving. He then appears in the second issue, telling Sally about what happened to her. However, he dashes off when Evil Sonic turns dark and dashes at Sally.

10. Sonic Chronicles: Wrenched Into Oblivion
{C In SC: WIO, Tails starts off with Amy Rose, searching for Knuckles and Shade to help find a missing Sonic. They are able to recruit Knuckles to tag along, but Shade is nowhere to be found. After returning back to Tails's home, a mysterious tidal wave (with three surfers on it) crashes into Tails's home and knocks out Tails. When Knuckles heals him, Tails falls asleep, soon waking up outside in the dead of night. Knuckles and Amy attempt to head to Big's house in the Mystic Ruins jungle to catch their breaths (Sonic was said to have disappeared in the area), but a mysterious flash of light stops them. The trio then encounter Ratchet and Clank (from the Ratchet and Clank series), along with Roxas (from Kingdom Hearts.) After Knuckles fixes Ratchet's wounds that left him unconscious from a previous battle, the group all heads to Big's home. Tails and the gang then find a Chaos Emerald, but Dr. Eggman attacks in his Egg Shifter, almost winning until Ratchet makes the Egg Shifter fall off a cliff with his R.Y.3.N.O. Tails then reunites with Sonic and Sora (Sora from Kingdom Hearts), and Tails returns to his home with Ratchet and Clank to build a Chaos Emerald Radar. However, he discovers Cosmo's seedling is missing, and he faints from sheer shock. When he awakes, Marluxia (from Kingdom Hearts) under the disguise as Axel, since Tails had not seen him, misleads Tails into fighting Sora to get back his most "prized possession." Tails loses the fight, but Marluxia saves him quietly while Sora is distracted. Once Tails comes to, he finds out the truth and is almost killed and turned into a Heartless by Larxene (from Kingdom Hearts) until a strange fox in a black cloak saves him and drops him off at his house while he is unconscious. Tails awakes to find out Mecha Knuckles is heading for Station Square to destroy it, and Tails, the real Axel, Sora, Kairi (from Kingdom Hearts), Courtney Gears, Big Al, Helga, Captain Qwark, and Skidd (all from Ratchet and Clank) go to save the city.
11. Chronicles Commented By Cosmo
{C Cosmo occasionally looks down at Tails, just to see how he is doing while she is in the spirit world. This takes place alongside SC: WIO.
12. Sonic X: For True Story
{C This is a 'what-if' fanfic, taking place during the timeline of Sonic X Episode 76. In the original version, Tails and Cosmo fired a powerful, Master Emerald-charged shot from the Sonic Power Cannon at Final Nova. In this version, the shot backfires and releases Nazo (from Sonic: Nazo Unleashed). Nazo then, after mocking Shadow, attacking Rouge, and knocking out Knuckles, punches Tails and K.O.'s him, ready to kill both him and Cosmo. A Zone Cop appears to stop him and arrest everyone in the area, although the grounds are unknown, as the chapter ends there.
13. NightHedgehog's Universe
In this universe, Tails is the cute 8 year old fox we all know and love. At first he didn't get much of an appearance only showed brief appearances from time to time but is best remembered as the one who fixed the bounty hunter (in training) Selene's extreme board.
{C A year later, Tails is now 9 years old who is one of the few people not to have their attire chanced but the young fox had grown up quite a bit when Shadow the Hedgehog had returned from TDY for G.U.N. This time he had a several more appearances and was even more advanced in technology than before. He helped Sonic and the gang defeat the evil werewolf, Gravestone from dystroying most of the planet by, with the help of Snow, translating a mysterious tablet that had turned out to be the key to Gravestone's defeat.
{C Twenty more years later, Tails is now a twenty-nine year old adult with a son who had incrediable intelligance, but lacks in the mechanical talent Tails once had at Skylar's age. He is a very caring father to Skylar and the both of them have a strong father-son relationship. He even helped Skylar create the very useful, but comical, Delta 34.

Unlike the majority of the fan-fictions shown in this article, Tails is the main protagonist in the fan-fiction. 4 months after the event of Sonic X, Tails lived a desperate life because of the loss of Cosmo. He believed that there is a cure for the seed to revive Cosmo in the far reaches of the universe, so he--with the help of his robotic pet, T-Pup--built a new version of the Tornado called the Tornado-Z and blasted off into space to look for Cosmo. However, during his flight in space, he got into an accident and ended up crash-landing on the planet Nimbus. After his coma, he met up with Albert and Wilbur, two brothers and residents of Nimbus, and joined their brotherhood. But when Cosmo, Sonic and Knuckles got to Nimbus after hours of searching for Tails, they told him about Eggman conquering Mobius with robots that are powered with a Generator that uses the 7 Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald. Tails, along with Cosmo, Sonic, Knuckles, Albert and Wilbur, went to Mobius to fight Eggman and save Mobius from the tyranical ruler.

- Tails is planned to be one of the three playable characters in Ultimate Sonic. Like Sonic, some of his stages are about reaching the goal while others are set treasure hunting stages but he must still find the goal located in a difficult and high place. He has a Boost Gauge (simular to the meter of Sonic's boost) which allows him to fly until his meter is empty. Tails will have the unique ability to regenerate energy slowly when he is not flying. Since his ability is accessed by jumping during mid-jumping, what will be his Action ("X button") is undecided.

{C Tails plays the role of Tom Sawyer, a member of the League of Extraordinary Gentleman. After witnessing Sonic fall from the sky and him fighting off the undead, Tails eventually meets him at the end of the first level, amazed at his skills. He is also the first person to comfort Sonic after he becomes a werehog the first time. Here, Tails uses his tail swift, flying ability, and the spin dash move. He is playable, but his original form can be unlockable in Multiplayer.

{C Tails gets sucked into the world of the Chronicles of Narnia and must help the four children (represented by his friends) find Aslan and defeat Jadis the White Witch.

5. Sonic the Hedgehog: Night of Shadows
{C Tails is first seen at Glacian Ski Resort, where he has a part-time job there. When Sonic, Shadow, and Silver find his workshop ransacked, Tails coincidentally comes by and bursts into anger. When they escape to Ignited Mountain, they split up, Tails going to Glacian when Sonic complains about always going there. Past that, he is seen only as Twinblade, one of Nightmare's minions. As Twinblade, Tails' eyes, hands, and tails (usually entwined) are pure black. Although fully capable of anything Tails can do, Twinblade cannot perform any action without being given a command. He is seen perpetually from there on out. After being freed of the eye shadows, Tails dashes to his workshop, saying he can take care of the molecular effects with ease.

12. The Chronicles of Sonic the Hedgehog: Rise of the Heroes
Tails appears in the game as a Fly-Type starter playable character. In the Story of the game, Tails teams up with Sonic in his mission to defeat Immarius and the Gravitus. He has also contructed the Blue Typhoon which they use in order to head to the Space Colony ARK.

On Angela O'Haru's 11th birthday in Peach's Castle in the Mushroom Kingdom, the 11-year-old Tails gave Angela the Red Diamond Shaped Earrings, and then they both started to fall in love, 4 years later, his son Cyrus Prower was the very first child given birth, however in Super Smash Bros.: 6 Years Later (based off of 2 years from the Super Smash Bros: The Comic) it revealed that Angela angrily broke up with Tails after she caught Tails making out with Shay the Bat
