This is the first time someone other than Sonic gets sucked into the storybook, namely Tails. The game takes place in the world of the Chronicles of Narnia (mainly based on the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) where he and others along with some familiar faces taking on personas of the characters within the book. Together, they must defeat the White Witch while protecting Aslan. It is the first time in the Sonic Storybook series that Ray the Squirrel appears since the arcade game and it's also the first storybook series that stars someone other than Sonic.
