Vector and the rest of Team Chaotix appears when Ruby goes missing. He helps Hali find her and even fight Mespira when Sonic and Shima are left powerless. Vector talks with Espio and Charmy, and decides to let Hali join the team.

Vector is set to appear with Team Chaotix. He helps Flare and Co. find the computer room to Planessa's ship.

Vector appears as a starter Power-Type character in the game. In the Story of the game, Vector and his Team Chaotix are told by the President to help the goverment defeat the Gravitus. Soon, Team Chaotix ends up teaming up with Sonic and co for the same purposes.

He first met Princess's Peach's Triplet Brother Count Cosmo Toadstool at Vancouver Olympics events on Winter Island in Angela O'Haru: The Search for The Sasquatch (nearly based off of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games ) as he, Count Cosmo, Angela O'haru , Team Chaotix , Pauline , and Cosmo's Nieces, the Toadstool Triplets Eliza, Betty and Beth, wonder around searching for a yeti known as the "Sasquatch" while Mario, Sonic and their Canon friends are on their quest to rescue the Snow Spirits From Bowser and Eggman's evil forces. . . That is before Vector ditched Cosmo Toadstool's team to team up with Mario and Sonic's team after Challenging the two.
Super Smash Bros.: The Comic
In Angela O'Haru and the Royal Suspension , Vector, Espio , Charmy , Knuckles , Mighty , Ray , Julie-Su , Wreck it Ralph and Donkey Kong meet up with Don Mikki Sandriazz , She-Rob III , Surroget the Koopa, Shadow the Hedgehog , E-123 Omega , Rouge the Bat , Platinum Zilla , Detective Inspector Charon Daniels and Chief Commander Abraham Tower as requested by Princess Peach Toadstool , Miles "Tails" Prower and Angela O'Haru . They all team up and Rescue Princess Daisy and Proved her innocence. At the the end, after finding out her Cat-Cursed boyfriend Philip O'Edge sacrificed himself to have Queen Jaydees send Durian back to the living, It was Vector who had no option but to avenge him (though he never knew him). But the Vecnilla relationship torn after Vanilla caught Vec cheating on her with a "Witch" though Durian had no heart to hurt a rabbit so she just scolded on her instead and told he not to have a crush on Vector again.
Super Smash Bros.: 6 Years Later
After Fix-It Felix Jr. built the New Emerald Town right at the one end of the road right across New Mobotropolis (A Town which it took him Hours to do after the old one was destroyed in the Process when Cream was 6) and after Cream , Team Chaotix, Gemerl , Cheese , Chuckola and Vanilla move there, Durian brought her two year old son and Daughter named "Berry " and "Argyle " to The Team Chaotix Detective Agency and told Vector that it's his turn to babysit them. Vector refused at first but then she asks what if she pays him 300 Gold Rings in Mushroom Coins then Vector answers that it's a deal. at the end, he returns the Kids calmly back to Gingerbread Manor and told her "Argyle and Berry did great, who knew that the twins are good at Computer Technology." And then Durian giggles over it.
Super Smash Bros. Beyond
While Vector and Durian went on a picnic with Berry and Argyle, that was when Argyle first met Lara-Su the Echidna. Vector doesn't like Argyle's relationship (but refuses to tell his son) But Durian and Berry giggles over the when seeing that Argyle and Lara-Su are a pair.
Sonic Brawlers
Vector the Crocodile is a secondary character in Sonic Brawlers.
